The Heart of God Is This, Friends

The heart of God is this, friends, that on your worst day, Jesus is crazy about you. He doesn't love you because you're lovable, He loves you because it's His nature to do so. This is what light reveals when we talk of the light of Christ. It doesn't matter if you're in the deepest hole that a person can dig for themselves. And he loves you just the same as if you were doing everything perfectly in line with the world's highest standards.
