The General Council of the University of Idaho issued guidance halting the distribution of birth control and advising university employees that if they speak about promote counsel or refer a student for abortion, they could face a felony conviction. "There's a few threads going on here that we are seeing in other states," says John Sutter. The move comes amid complaints of restrictions on free speech on the right.
