Inquest Into the Death of Long Liz Stride in Duttfield Yard
Liz Stride died in Duttfield Yard only a few days before and Win Baxter's hand rested on the proceedings. Israel Schwartz, the Jewish Hungarian who had seen the attack did not appear at Liz Stride's inquest. The coroner in the 1887 Lipsky murder case was none other than Paul Begg as he tried to tell us more about that case. In June of 1887, she was poisoned with nitric acid or nitric nerve gas but didn't die from it. A fellow woman named Miriam Angelis also found dead near Burner Street which is where Liz Stride lived.
