Introduction
Stephen Tellers is a professor of Political Science at Johns Hopkins University. In this interview we focus on his 2008 work called The Rise of the Conservative Legal Movement. It examines how conservative efforts, and in particular the Olin Foundation, were able to significantly influence American legal institutions starting in the 1970s. We discuss several interesting questions, such as how ideas can become entrenched in American politics.
