The Importance of Visual Library

When you're an artist, then you start to become more intentional about noticing this stuff. I think if you don't have anything in your history or in your mind to draw from, you just end up recreating the same thing over and over again. And it's usually a knock-off of somebody else's thing. You find your favorite artist and you start to copy them and mimic them. Every single artist has copied from the masters at some point.
