The Crittendon Compromise
Crittendon had been a member of the constitutional union party, soi this was a moment made for him. The most important part it was this one on top here, the extension of the missouri compromise line to the pacific ocean. No future amendment of the constitution could change these amendments,. or authorized or empower congress to interfere with slavery within any slave state.
