What's the Flip Side of Antinomian?
Worship can be legalistic and prescriptive, or antinomian. Paul always talked about the flesh as basically two things: It's legalism on one sign and antinomia on the other. When I was at my last church, church was growing. We had raised almost a million dollars for our building program. So we hired a design build firm that specialized in churches. One of those got it. They were like, ah, the pastor, he's into the beauty thing. And they ended up with a gymnasium which is hidden until people come back to their church. You don't come back until you've done what God wants them to do.
