The Death of a Trauma Patient

I thought it raised very interesting and important points that I've never quite considered. The chapter about what happens to patients if they die in the trauma ward which happens a lot, doesn't happen all the time but this is a very high mortality clinical phenomenon. Surviving trauma, despite the best efforts of the hospital can be quite hard one. There's just a point at which sometimes the body cannot be resuscitated. So, I wanted to understand more. What death was in this context, what it meant, and for whom in different ways. And the post mortem was a really key feature of that, that sort of desire to understand or that problem of understanding.
