The Importance of Nature in Urban Living
In 2023, we were trying to manage nature at a spatial scale that doesn't really fit ecological processes. We think about how we provide nature as not so much a cosmetic afterthought, but really seeing it as critical scaffolding for urban living and for living in general. That means putting biodiversity at the front of all of the decisions that we make. Key to that was kind of breaking down these artificial administrative boundaries that kind of restricted how we experienced nature.
