The Challenges of Running With Sled Dogs
The dogs don't have to be taught anything at all, but they do have to learn quite a number of things that aren't running and resting is very, very hard to teach them. So conditioning is a lot of what we do in the same way that someone who's training to run a marathon is going on runs on a specific schedule. The main thing you have to be prepared for when you go out with the dogs is that you might end up stuck out there.
