The Big Economic History Questions in India Are Up for Grabs
Economic history requires very different set of skills than the rest of economics. It would be great if they knew how to read ancient script. You need a word which will actually reward you for spending time learning a language that is now no longer used, and so on. But i think there's just a whole lot of that kind of stuff available. There are some structureol things that need to be in place. In india, oldso we haven't even stopped thinking about india. I'm not suree i would tell a student, and i think you'd have o be prudent about choices.
