i was inspired by miriam grinvald's studies on monkey brain, which looked at the intrinsic signal an of oxygenation using a cranial window and odac t fix. i adopted exactly that, because i figured, if it works for optical imaging, we need to make it work for bold - otherwise this technique isn't going to be all that great high spatial resolution.
