The Importance of Energy Transition to Decarbonization
We brought on the shale a decade ago. We have a huge amount of abundant energy, price of all energy forms fell basically 90% in the 2010s. And we went out and embarked on a major building boom for things that have very poor energy economics. I think everybody could probably do well from a major dose of humility in trying to understand some of these cycles. The climate is an incredibly complicated system. Luckily, nuclear power fits that bill quite nicely.
