The Problem With Multitasking

In a world where it seems like the pace of everything is accelerating, expectations about productivity and what you should be able to get accomplished are heightened. multitasking does not mean that we're doing two things fully in parallel, right? What we're actually doing is switching our attention. And so it's like we're square pegs with our preferences forced into round holes to do something that's just not basic to our natures.
