Many years ago, Aldo Leopold gave us the language of the world of wounds. We talked about coral reefs and wildfire as two examples of wounds that might not be entirely visible to most of us in our everyday lives. But it's hard these days to be an informed citizen and not know that we're in a pretty bad place.
