The History of Visual Storytellers
I feel like I, I guess it was during the auteur period where you just felt like there was a lot more visualist pushing the envelope. That commercial background also where they would go on those six week Marlboro jobs and like push everything hand cranked,. Or, you know, they, all that history of kind of being on the edge of what's possible and then bringing it to features is pretty great. The craft of the DPs that were in that world and yeah, just amazing. It's really a, yeah, but a significant part of why it looks the way it does.
