When i started to become more familiar with things, i noticed that like the emobile aps, both andrad and iowas ere using this legacy system. It was basically because this team had a really good relationship with the web people and no relationship with the mobile people. Introducing another layer of abstraction, that's always a great solution,. But the underlying source of truth should always be a single one.
