Apology is a defense of one's position. hubris excessive pride or denying the gods with a use or function of reason. There was actually quite a few comedic parts of you guys got to read there were some funny parts and he kind of Busts some jokes and busts some he makes fun of some of the people in the city. So it's an element of comedy there as well.
