A Banjo to Play on in Advent

Advent is about christ's coming in history, mystery and majesty. That's why we have the luke reading. But i also think, especially the recent emphasis on missional theology, is to talk about how god is in breaking the world now all around us. I'm not sure any of these texts do a great job of helping us with that. Maybe psalm 25 does a better job than jeremiah.
