The Last Moment of Juan Pujol

Agent Garbo and his fake network continued to provide disinformation to the Nazis until the end of the war in 1945. Pujol accepted a payout from the British government and went to start a new life in Latin America with Araceli. They had three children together before separating just after the youngest Maria was born. Then Araceli took the children back to Spain and soon enough she was sent the cover story that Juan Pujol was dead. The MI5 sent false information saying that he had died and our mother never said a word about him. He lived a very simple anonymous life. It must have been very difficult also for him not to be able to speak to anybody about it.
