I would argue that the united states is a very curious society to try to drive. It's tremendously influential, but i want to get back to this point about if we're looking at something like climate change,. it seems to me that it necessarily involves a concertd effort of people from across the globe. We do have global governments. Even so maybe the u n isn't the right to do this. That doesn't mean that conversations stop.
