Ishiguru and the Nobel Prize
The last two Nobel laureates, Louise Glick and Abu Raza Gurna are not huge names. If you're super popular like Ishiguru, I would be curious if that's really had any effect on his sales. There is this kind of like stratospherically famous writer who feels like they just need this prize to put them up there with Elliot and Faulkner and all the geniuses. You'd have to be internationally famous in your home country for it to make a difference.
