Is It the Same in Ireland?
In ireland, as in hong kong, it's much more straightforward. It's you've either got money or you haven't. Whereas in britain, there's the added complication of where you how you speak. Ye like, of course, there is still class signifiers. So if someone went to a fe pan chool in south dublin, that tells you something about class that is different to if they didn't. But you don't to the same extent have people whose family long since ran out of money but are still able to access mandly the benefits of that world.
