The Role of the Arts in Health
The idea of using the arts to just personalize, personally express what's inside instead of repressing it is a big piece of why the arts work. We do know that singing really helps people with dementia and that can improve cognition and certainly quality of life. And we know that dancing helps people with Parkinson's disease and stroke and other motor-related disorders. So I wonder if you could speak a little bit to sort of let's talk about some of the ways the more recent research on the impact of arts on our well-being.
