The Bailiff Strikes His Beard
The 16-year-old Hans heard the pounding at the door. The bailiff stroked his beard. He didn't enjoy this. Silly Hans had played with his kids a few years back. It wasn't fair what happened, but with the kidnap being and then his parents, his father should have done more than to leave a 14-year-olds in charge. A lot of people were not only taking out staggering loans in his name, but actually taking a lot of money from the house.
