Soviet Marxism

There's a common story that Western Marxist like marcoosa oppose the Soviet block in the name of democratic socialism. I don't think that he was, you know, carrying water for the Soviets in any way. He genuinely believed that it was a failed experiment in the Soviet Union, but one that could be improved upon in other societies. The actual facts that emerged from it are quite horrifying and quite revolting.
