Is There a Difference Between a Discipline and a Congregation?

There's a lot of critiques around denominationalism, about its birthing the kind of secular mind. But that luther really wasn't trying to create denominations, right? No, i think he'd be pretty despondent, ya, about what happened on the longtail. And again, these are ironies that sometimes within our own protestant intellectual history, these kind of questions don't pop up as muchyoyou hear from the outside. So if you were to look at America and say, why or how is the story of denominations bound up with america, do you have any thoughts there?
