The practice of sitting meditation is accepting ourselves in the here and now. We will have the tendency to deep look to reflect, but then our thinking will overtake us. So your mindful breathing guides you back. My own experience is that now I'm more busier than some brothers and sisters in the community. And so if you can allow your mind to rest, you can also be more productive in your deep looking.
