The Father of Lies

Lies tell us what our bodies are for, without telling us that they're temples of the holy spirit. They lead us on a million well meaning searches for love, without ever pointing us to the god who is love. The father of lies now has what he wants. He has ripped them away from the father's love, motivated by fear. And the result is always shame. Because good fruit in your life emerges from that that felt belief deep within you. This is why the enemy is called the accuser. And subtly twists unconditional love into conditional performance,. generous freedom into narrow restriction, father into mentor.
