The ubed culture is a retrospectively named culture based on similarities of archaeological excavations. Artifacts typical of the hussona and the ubaid have been found at samara sites. This has led historians to believe there was a hula ubaed transitional period which commenced some time after five thousand, 500 b c e. We are still waiting for scholars this period in history to provide us with more answers about this be period.
