Is Your Mum Not Cooking?

I once found her standing over a pan. This is the only time i can ever remember her attempting to cook something again. Friends would come round and be astonished that my dad was doing the coter ye, just astonished by it. I wish he had good comic, comic sensibilities. He so, oh, my god, i she is, it comes across in a book. She's an extraordinary character like that. And i do think the gender's interesting, because i said mida was a bit of a character, but he was a man, and it was considered, like, always a bit eccentric.
