This chapter explores the changing landscape of electric vehicle charging, highlighting user preferences and payment models. Insights from a survey in Port Adelaide provide a deeper understanding of consumer behavior and effective charging pricing mechanisms, along with a discussion of a smart charging trial program in collaboration with the South Australian Department of Energy and Mining.
