Fang Fang started early by mentioning Hong Kong and studying. The Hong Kong thing, I believe, was to prime me so that once I found out she was a Chinese citizen, she would have a reason to explain that she's one of the good ones. But everything about it is suggested Chinese spy. Am I flattered? No. Like all I thought about it was creepy. But it also tells you to be careful.
