Christina: There's no such thing as a left-brained or a right-brained person. And so this notion that we are one or the other logical or creative, it's not true. So I would go and talk to your box, talk to your manager about the thing that you want to try or learn more about or explore this yearthat has nothing to do with your current job description. See if there's a way to get a stretch assignment or a rotation or a zigzag promotion that allows you to sort of expand that portfolio even in the context of your day job.
