Is Mitch McConnell Trying to Co-Opt Trumpist Energy?

There are so many different camps at this point that it's very hard to boil it down in some simple way. I take Ron DeSantis, right? He's like his own animal when it comes to co-opting Trump energy. And a lot of the elites coalescing around DeSantis are seeing someone who will actually take that kind of Trumpist energy and use it kind of more effectively than Trump did.
