The Struggle to Grow Leadville

"We are as a community, a county, a city looking at how we are growing Leadville to actually accommodate the change in the growth that's happening," he says. "I'm going to work really hard at the shuttle system over the next five years to get where you can park your car and decrease on the shuttle." The race was built out of the vision of trying to bring economic vitality into the community when it was in such a difficult state with the mind closing.
