Most small business owners that I worked with historically put aside about 30% for tax so business tax is less than 30%. Having a separate account for GST can be really helpful. Treat yourself as a staff member and pay your own super how often are you going to commit to paying that. A book recommendation called profit first which works really well for small businesses who need to change their mindset around paying themselves because if you're not flourishing how on earth is the business flourishing?
