TikTok and the Restrict Act: Alternatives
Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine says he wants to talk with constituents about TikTok before voting on a bill that would restrict the app. He also supports Project Texas, an idea put together by TikTok and Oracle in which all data housed overseas would be moved to servers in Texas. "I think you got to look at all that stuff before we just come out and say things like, oh, well, the kids like this app, but they'll just move to another app," said Kaine.
