Gilmore Girls Without Emily

Amy Sherman Peladino said she had the last words of the series in her head like ever since she started the show. I think that you make a good point about Emily that that character does go through significant change over the course of the series. In their minds, I don't think Edward Herman dies before everybody else in the principal cast. That is really what they did. So they had to come up with something original, compelling and you absolutely could not do Gilmore Girls without Emily.
