The Problem With the US Military Industry
In 2020, the US military budget made up almost 40% of the world's spending on military. It vastly outweighs what we spend on education, public health, scientific research, infrastructure, etc,. And it shows. The profits that this money that's going to military is not going towards actually helping the people that are in the military. They just get to suffer and rot. All come out with fucking PTSD, different levels of disability, and they're all fucked up. We'd be up in arms about that, but it's military. So apparently we give that a pass... But I digress.
