Kyle Shanahan and the Mac Jones Trade

Shanahan has done more with less at quarterback than maybe any other coach in the NFL right now. But can we just remember that Brock Purdy just had this like crazy surgery? He didn't have the full reconstruction again. It's a injury. And it's going to be months before he starts throwing. So there's just absolutely no way to have that kind of certainty. This is a roster that is ready to win games. The NFC is so wide open. On the one hand, they must be sort of exhausted of doing these crazy things for quarterbacks but at the same time, like you just can't roll it out.
