Urban Legends - Is There a Real Ritual?

Urban legends are cobbled together from bits of things that may or may not be true. The video is so pixelated and everything like the numbers at the bottom with the time code on the bottom left hand corner, it's just it looks strange to me. Do you think the video is edited? I know the timestamp is obscured in the original because several people watched it and said that it was edited for people who are not pursuing some kind of supernatural explanation. On the LAPD's end, they say that there was someone else visible on the camera, but time had been cut out or spliced.
