Is There a Satanic Coven in the Body of Edwin?

In the first episode, Edwin believes he is being controlled by a satan worshipping coven of doctors and acquaintances. He also pricks himself with an electric drill in order to relieve his self trepidation. The ending raises questions about whether Edwin was actually infected with this demonic obsession when he pricked his finger while working on samuel holt's body.
