i like him in that respect. But it's just, it's tough for me to say this guy should be number one, when there is a scenario maybe where he gets to be that unbelievable player, but it would involve just a big physical leap to me, to start with. Ok, so let me give you the player that i think is easily the higest upside guy in the draft. I don't think it's close, and that's shakisar, really. I

mean, just just because he hasn't proven that he's not or, well, ok, here's i went about it right. And
Speaker 2
obviously there's risk there in theory, because we haven't seen him do it at a high level. We've just seen it in high school, and that mad ical u i b l season where he became the number one recruit in the 20 22 high school class. And then reclassified this year and spent time in kentuckyi obviously didn't play for them at all. And we can get kind of more more into all that stuff. But let's say you took shadand sharp what we saw from him in high school and compared it to all the other guys at the same point in their career, he's probly the best o any of these guys. Riht

ye, i mean, home groon would be the one. You would say he was a pretty awesome high school player. Ban carroll came in highly touted, but i don't know if he was quite on, quite on sharp's level as far as the a s. So to me, sharp,

i went back and looked at and he's very good measurements for a shooting guard. Six five six, 11 wing span, huge hands. Ao, pretty much a nuclear level of finisher at the basket. If he's not anthony edwards and jailan green, he's very close to that level. I would say his skill level at the same age is higher than either of those guys as a dribbler and a shooter. Footwork getting to step backs, maybe not quite the same level of first step as those guys getting to the basket. O, and maybe not the same type of i hasn't shown like, quite the same level of competitiveness, maybe, as at least in green. But all those guys had some questions about contif thet their defence and their floor game and stuffand, and sharp hasn't been in number one option. He's been a late bloomer, relatively so. But his passing game, i'd say, was about the same as like, green and edwards. But if you look at that physical profile and then go back in historyof like that combination of physical profile and dribbling and shooting skill, there's not many guys, as you go back, that had that at this type of anat right? If you go back and look at, i think edwards and green are in that conversation, he's, i says, more athletic than markel folts, whose kind of a similar size, foults at a higher school level, to be sure, i would say. And so you go back and look at the list of all these players, and there's everyone who's had this level of athleticism and this level of skill has worked out to be really good. And i understand there's some uncertainty about his path and all that, but it just, i think it's just obvious to me. I don't see anyone else who could be, has level upside to finish at the rim like that and shoot the ball the way he can, and have a pretty good skill level for a just turned 19 year old shooting guard. So that that's my thought. I would, i haven't fully decided yet, but i would have him and boncaro in proy my top tier. And i might even have him number one, a a

ive. Watched him shoot before the saint peter's game. Ah, and i can confer like that is a nice looking shot, like he he will be able to make enby a shoth, i have little doubt about. Ah, i think everyone in the league thinks it's a little weird that he didn't play any games for kentucky, even though he was eligible to play.
