Alex and Chris are a dramaturgical dyad. They must exist with each other. And the only thing that I think is that Alex sees you as his dramatic foil. Whereas with Maddie, he doesn't, he doesn’t, Maddie is too business like for him. That deposition does not, is not comfortable and does not go well for Jones. He just hates the guy like on a visceral level. The way he treated us is so, so different.
