The Effect of Wealth on College Admissions

David Frum: A new study shows that the nation's wealthiest kids are more likely to get into college. He says even after a kid from a middle class or poor background has managed to do as well on the SAT, they are still less likely to get in than a child from a more affluent background. Frum: It's not wealth directly but three other factors that correlate very much with wealth and end up giving wealthy kids an advantage.
