Ephesians 5 and 6 - What Does This Mean?

Ephesians 5 and 6 is not evidence that we've grown more enlightened than paul, than a all the other biblical writers. Submit to one another out of reverence for christ. That's the ethic. It's put bluntly and simply right there at the top. Every syllable that follows this verse is an exploration of that ethic in the common environments of everyday life. What does it look like, practically, when some one lives attentively to jesus in ordinar relationships? It looks like submission.
