Rachel's Disappearance Sparked a Panic in Melbourne - A Tense Moment for the Parents
Local business owners rallied to provide whaever support they could to the panic stricken parents. Elizabeth phoned hospitals across melbourne to see if rachel had been admitted, but was told that privacy laws prevented them from disclosing the identity of any impatients. The same laws also prevented eliabeth from obtaining information about calls made to the barber home in the days preceding rachel's disappearance. Her phone company were able to hand over the details of outgoing calls made from the house, but there was nothing amongst this data that seemed out of the ordinary. Officers at the box hill police station informed the barbers they would visit the dance factory later in the day to speak with the missing teems
