Is Disability a Collaborative Experience?
The more you decide that you're the one who has it, the more you don't actually get to live who you are when you don't have it. I think a lot of people who have been working with disability for a long time and thinking about disability have been really going for this collective experience. And so there's just like a real lack of curiosity on some level about what bodies are and what they go through if we keep reproducing that structure.
