The shepherds don't think so much in terms of individual plants like we were looking at those relationships they think of habitat types and complementarities among suites of plants. And that's where Michelle and I had really connected years before that because we were showing that you know an appetizer for instance an appetizer of bitter brush helps animals to eat way more sagebrush as the tannins in bitter brush evidently bind up to terpenes and sagebrush. The idea is that they're moving animals and moving them maybe more one time a day and so forth so you're becoming many shepherds in a way right when you start to get involved with the animals.
